We survived!

Well, I must say the pajama party was a success. I think Hannah had a great time. It was CRRRAAAAZZY!!!! But a good time was had by all. No major drama that I can think of, which I think is pretty impressive, considering our house was full of 12 drama queens. Thank God Jason was here and also his niece and her boyfriend happened to be in town for their spring break. Omie and Opie were also here to celebrate. They were all a big help! It started out with the girls playing outside, in jammies of course! They were all so excited to see each other so there was lots of running around and excitement. After that got a little out of control we decided it was pizza time. I'm not sure if they ate more pizza or chocolate. Most of them had dessert first since we had the chocolate fountain going. It was a huge hit!!! After pizza and more chocolate, we decided to paint toe nails. We had a small assembly line going and Omie and Lindsey helped. I snapped a picture of them sitting down to let their nails dry. We had Beverly Hills Chihuahua on to keep them entertained.
Next, it was time to sing happy birthday and eat cupcakes. Normally, Omie makes the birthday cake, but this year Hannah chose to have cupcakes instead. Omie and I both got off easy! After that, I was at a loss. I really thought they would chill out and watch the movie, but I was so wrong. They had way too much energy to sit still. At this point I was thinking, what have I done! There was still an hour to go and I had run out of ideas. So we brainstormed and decided to play musical chairs. The girls LOVED it! Lindsey had Miley Cyrus on her ipod, so we played that as they walked around. It was perfect! I think we played 5 or 6 times. Jason was in charge of the music and he was using the remote to the stereo to control it. Now Brooke calls that remote the "musical chair remote"!!! Anyway, it was a great way to take up time and lots of fun. Before the parents came to get the girls, I handed out their goody bags. I had found these sparkly, star-shaped sunglasses that I thought would be a hit. All the girls put their glasses on and we took a picture of them all on the couch. I have to get that picture from Lindsey because my memory card was full on my camera. It was super cute!
Gracie enjoyed wearing the Super Star glasses today. Isn't she adorable??!! I put them on her and she actually left them on for 5 minutes or so. She NEVER leaves glasses on, so I knew she liked them. We showed her to herself in the mirror and she thought she was hot stuff! I thought it was too cute not to share. :)

Looks like yall had a blast, but I'm glad that those days are over for me, I guess that is why women my age are grannies...or at least I keep praying!

Now Jason and Gracie have the right idea...their sunglasses are just way too cool!
