Update for Lynn

Hello all,

This is Jason. I just wanted to give an update on how Lynn is doing. The surgery went great. From the time she went in until we spoke to the surgeon was a little over two hours. The doctor said that there was was nothing in her lymph nodes or any where else except the kidney, which we already knew about. That was definitely an answer to our prayers. The recovery however was not quite as smooth. It took quite a while for her to come out of "it" after surgery. I left the hospital at 2:30 P.M. and she wasn't feeling good at all. She was nauseated all day and got sick a few times before the doctors gave her some medicine to take care of it. She slept for three and half hours after taking the medicine. Her mom and dad were there all day and stayed through the afternoon so I could pick up Hannah at school and take Hannah and Brooke to dance. I was going to spend the night, but her mom offered to do that so that I could stay home with the girls and my mom and dad. Thank you Audrey. Lynn called at around 8:30 and sounded tired but much better than she did this afternoon. She will be in the hospital until at least Wednesday and if everything goes right will then come home. Our girls have been absolute troopers through this whole ordeal so far and are doing great.

Now, I would personally like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and offers of help. You have no idea how much it means to Lynn and I that you would be so gracious as to bring us food, take and pick up Hannah at school, take and pick up our girls from dance classes, or anything else asked of you to help. We are truly blessed to friends and family like you to take care of us.

Now that I know how to get on this blog thing I will keep you updated until Lynn and can get back to it. If anyone has any questions call the house or my cell phone. Thank you again for everything.
